Helmsley Walled Garden is a beautiful five acre garden in the
heart of North Yorkshire. Dating from 1758, the garden is gradually being
restored to its former glory. Originally built to supply the Duncombe estate
with fruit, vegetables and cut flowers, it was abandoned in the 1970's until
1994, when extensive restoration was started to bring it back to life as a
fully working kitchen garden.
